TITLE
Accounting assistant- 24 hours ( 3 days)
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an ambitious Accounting Assistant to strengthen the accounting department by managing daily accounting tasks. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances.
Preparing is a large part of the Accounting Assistant ‘s day-to-day work. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail with proactive and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
– Update accounts receivable and perform aging analysis with follow up actions
– Assist with submission of data to Dutch authorities such as CBS
– Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
– Assist with accounts payable preparations
– Assist with General Affairs-related tasks
QUALIFICATION
Requirements
· You like working with numbers
· You are accurate and flexible
· Excellent knowledge of Excel and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. SAP) is highly appreciated
· Good knowledge of English language; accounting background is appreciated, but not necessarily required
· HBO or equivalent education
· Holds valid EU work and residence permit (mandatory)
· You live in The Netherlands, preferably in the area of Amsterdam

Operations
TITLE
Operations assistant - minimum 24 hours (3 days) / 40 hours (full) a week
JOB DESCRIPTION
Tasks
We are looking for an ambitious Operations Assistant to strengthen the Operations department by managing daily administrative tasks. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain company’s order processing.
Order processing is a large part of the Operations Assistant ‘s day-to-day work. The ideal candidate will be able to work comfortably with all members, not only with the staff of the Operations department and is good at conducting repetitive task accurately.
Responsibilities
– Handling accurately data entry of purchase orders by using the right tools
– Reporting exceptional situations to the dedicated internal teams
– Acting as point of contact with our warehouse for the shipping process
– You may be required to respond to order and shipment related inquiries, from different customers from diverse countries
QUALIFICATION
Requirements
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office – particularly Excel with an ability to create pivot tables, basic Excel equations at minimum
• Comfortable in learning and using diverse software
• Able to enter data quickly and accurately
• Attention to detail, long focus span and ability to maintain consistent precision even when performing repetitive tasks
• Well-organized way of working, being able to process given tasks on time
• Flexibility to work in a multicultural environment influenced by Japanese business culture
• High standards in work ethics and ability to maintain a professional relationship with customers, peers, and supervisors
• This position can suit for an entry to intermediate level, prior experience not mandatory but will be considered advantageous
• An interest in Japan or some proficiency in the Japanese language will be considered a plus. Any other language is a plus.
